The only difference, I guess, is that his family got lucky and was offered that better chance at life and living.
It doesn’t take away the pain and the ordeals of changing environments and re-adaptation.
Maybe, then, I’ve finally found someone who could understand when I said I don’t have a home. Hopefully it lasts and if it doesn’t, it’s good to know that someone out there knows how it feels (and is perhaps just as much a wreck).
Will someone please kindly donate their hours of sleep?
