I stand and wait, and listen
(perhaps finally)
and find there’s no one else
to solve, fix or forget
I sit and stare, still listening
to the many voices in my head
including Katy Perry off
the Sennheiser
then I know
it’s time to go home -
to come home, and breathe
it’s okay now, for the Sun said so
